This is a nice peaceful ride complete with vineyards, rolling hills, redwood forests and beautiful valley scenery. The road starts off from Westside Road in Healdsburg and winds along the valley next to Mill Creek until it does reach a "Dead End" 11.4 miles later. There are many places to stop and take in the scenery. There are historical landmarks present on this route like the Venado Post office and Daniels' Schoolhouse. This road is not well traveled and you may find yourself all alone as you cruise along.

This road is a "No Outlet" road and you will need to turn around and drive back after you have gone the distance. The road starts off well paved and 2 lane and by the time you reach the end you will be traveling on a single lane, somewhat paved pathway.

This is a very nice road to take a leisurely ride on, no hurrys and no time limits as you examine more of nature's beautiful side.
