RIDE SUMMARY

The ride started from the town of Occidental and made its end approximately three miles north of Salmon Creek along Highway CA-1.

Aa a road less traveled, Coleman Valley Road is a nice relaxing ride full of dazzling forest and coastal landscapes. The two lane road from Occidental quickly vanishes to become a one lane coastal road that has a fairly decent road surface.

This is a great ride to cruise along and look at the beautiful landscape while getting in a good workout.

There is a school zone as you leave Occidental so be careful for the children.

Strong winds gusts may occur as you approach the coast.

Most uneven surfaces can be avoided and wildlife may be on or cross the road without warning.
