RIDE SUMMARY

If there was a royalty amongst roads this would be up there with the best of them. The CA-128 is historically known for its strikingly beautiful countryside vineyards. The magnificience doesn't stop there, the CA-128 comes fully loaded with added traction asphalt and an array of low to moderately angled turns.

But be prepared for a major climb and descent when you get closer to Calistoga.

Cross traffic from intersecting roads and driveways can be a factor on this road. Commercial and large recreational vehicles can also be present during the week but traffic conditions can be much heavier on the weekends.

Expect a fair share of vehicle and pedestrian traffic once you arrive in Calistoga. Until reaching Calistoga, cell phone reception may be insufficient.

It is a nice alternative to Mark West Springs road if you are coming from the Northwest side of the county.
