RIDE SUMMARY

This road is designated by the State of California as a "Scenic Route" and once you have been on it you will understand why. It also has another name which is the Gravenstein Highway and is named that because of the world famous Gravenstein apples that are grown nearby.

From the rolling green hills and pastures west of Cotati to the Redwood forests between Sebastopol and Forestville to the scenic area of the Russian River, this ride has everything.

This is a ride not to rush, take it slow and stop off in Sebastopol which has designated itself the only "Nuclear Free Zone in the U.S." and enjoy the beauty, the quaintness and authentic charm of this small city.

At the Northern tip of this ride is Guerneville which is also a very nice place to stop and park the bike and have a look around. There are many smaller specialty shops that will keep your attention.

Of course you could not stop in Guerneville and not go down by the Russian River and have a look, it is an incredible place to jsut sit and relax.

We strongly recommend this ride and hope you enjoy it !
