RIDE SUMMARY

You will intercept Howell Mountain Road when taking Deer Park Road. Alert riders will notice subtle changes as more road obstacles including slower moving trucks, wildlife crossing the roadway, an assortment of sharp turns and fallen debris.

This road is striped double yellow for most of the way. The road is fairly well posted with any speed or road condition changes. This allows for the rider to have a reasonable amount of time to safely and comfortably make their adjustments.

The road will lead you to the small town of Angwinwhere food or other rest stop needs can be accommodated.  This will be the last chance for any of that until reaching the quiet town of Pope Valley.

Gravel driveways lead up to the shoulders of the road and can cause the road traction to become unstable.

This road can be enjoyed by riders of all levels as long as good judgment and commonsense are used while riding.

Be advised that there is an elementary school close to this road and that the playground remains open on the weekends.
