This is a great ride to take because it has beautiful forest scenery and wide open countryside as well.

As you get closer to Calistoga the road begins to climb through the Robert Louis Stevenson State Park the roads become a little narrower with many winding curves up through the mountains. The ascent is quite severe in some areas.

As you begin your descent into Calistoga watch your speed because it can get the better of you.
